Hath Fallen

Few paintings capture the sheer cosmic scale of biblical vision quite like this one. Created in 1902 by the English Symbolist painter Henry John Stock, this watercolour illustrates the opening verse of Revelation IX, in which the Apostle John witnesses a star falling from heaven to earth.
